Terms and conditions

 

ORDERING CHRISTMAS TURKEYS FOR FARM COLLECTION

  • All orders placed for farm collection will need to be collected on either Sunday 22nd December 2024 or Monday 23rd December 2024 between 10.00 and 17.00. We don't need to know which day as your turkey is allocated to you. Any other time only by a pre-arranged appointment before ordering.

  • Please note we are CLOSED on Tuesday 24th December

  • Our turkeys are allocated by surname. Please make sure this is entered correctly as a surname needs to be specified on collection.

  • You will need to supply a correct email address and telephone number for us to send an automated confirmation email. Your telephone number will only be used if you fail to collect your turkey at the specified time.

  • Lydiard Turkeys only produce a small number of turkeys each year. Orders are taken on a first come first serve basis.

  • All orders must be received with payment in full via our online shop. We made the decision in 2018 to only accept payment in full at time of ordering rather than a £20 deposit. This is in line with all other online shopping websites and enables us to keep our prices down (by saving us high bank charges) and also helps us provide a more efficient service at collection.

  • Our cut-off date for farm collection orders is 20th December 2024 or before if we have sold out.

  • Orders may be placed online via our website shop. The full amount is paid via Opayo (Formally Sagepay) using a credit/debit card. No card details are retained by Lydiard Turkeys.

  • We will always try and accommodate a size change if possible, so please email if you will need to do this.

  • You will receive an email as a confirmation of your order within 48 hours, please check your junk email if you have not received this.

  • Collection details will be on the email and closer to collection date on our website. please make a note of this.

  • We (Lydiard Turkeys) reserve the right to cancel any order placed if we cannot fulfil your order due to insufficient stock or incorrect pricing. We would either offer an alternative or refund you in full. All correspondence would be via email if an address has been provided.

  • We no longer have a telephone line so we can not take orders via telephone. Please order via the online shop

  • All orders are processed by Chris & Lindsay Rumming, please email if you have any problems with ordering.

  • Due to the nature of the product, we cannot guarantee an exact size.

  • Cancelling an order - As a small business we really hope you do not need to cancel an order already placed. If you request a cancellation of an order, we will refund your payment minus an administration fee of £5.00 within 5 working days. Any request for a cancellation and refund must be made via email. No cancellations possible after 1st December 2024.

CHRISTMAS TURKEYS - CLICK AND COLLECT SERVICE

  • Click and collect service is only available on Sunday 22nd December between 10am and 11am from The Aquatic Habitat, Shurdington, Gloucestershire. If your turkey is not collected it will be returned to the farm for collection.

  • Conygree Farm, Aldsworth - Collection on Sunday 22nd December 

 

PRIVACY POLICY

The information you provide to us when ordering from Lydiard Turkeys - Name, Address, Email address, Telephone number and orders will be stored on our own secure computer for customer assistance when repeat ordering. No other person other than Chris, Lindsay or Andy Rumming have access to this. We (Lydiard Turkeys) do not store any payment information. Payments are made using a secure connection via Opayo/Sagepay and your email address is used as our preferred method of contact and this will be stored on our secure data base for contacting you regarding our own products only, no more than 12 times a year (if you select to be contacted) We will never share your details. You are free to unsubscribe at any time. We will only use your telephone number if you have not collected your products on the specified day or for delivery purposes.


ORDERING OF OTHER PRODUCTS - LAMB, MUTTON & BEEF

  • We also produce our own Lamb, Mutton & Beef on the farm. Due to the seasonal nature of these we have specified collection days which will be stated at time of ordering.

  • Full Payment must be made to secure an order.

  • It has been designed and is moderated by Lindsay Rumming.

  • No area of this website may be reproduced without the consent of the owners named above.

  • The contents of this website are written by Chris, Lindsay and Andy Rumming and it is all accurate to the best of our knowledge.

 

RETURNS POLICY

Due to the nature of the products returns are not accepted.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

It is your responsibility to check your order carefully immediately on receipt of goods. In the unlikely event of goods being unsatisfactory, damaged or incomplete you should contact us within 5 working days, after this time period has elapsed, we will be unable to consider complaints.

Lydiard Turkeys is a trading name of D W Rumming & son, it is run by Chris and Lindsay Rumming. The website and all orders are taken and moderated by Lindsay and Chris Rumming and your details will never be sold or used for any other purpose than to contact you ourselves about our own products.
