Terms and conditions

 

ORDERING CHRISTMAS TURKEYS FOR FARM COLLECTION

• Please note different collection times for each day. All orders placed for farm collection will need to be collected on either Monday 22nd December 2025 10.00 - 17.00 or Tuesday 23rd December 2025 09.00 and 16.00. We don't need to know which day you are coming as your turkey is allocated to you. Any other time only by a pre-arranged appointment before ordering.

• Please note we are CLOSED on Wednesday 24th December

• Our turkeys are allocated by surname. Please make sure this is entered correctly, as a surname needs to be specified on collection.

• You will need to supply a correct email address and telephone number for us to send an automated confirmation email. Your Telephone number will only be used to contact you if you have not collected your order at the specified time.

• You will receive an email as a confirmation of your order within 48 hours, please check your junk email if you have not received this.

• Lydiard Turkeys only produce a small number of turkeys each year. Orders are taken on a first come first serve basis.

• All orders must be received with payment in full via our online shop using a credit/debit card. We use "stripe" as our card provider. No card details are retained by Lydiard Turkeys.

• Our cut-off date for farm collection orders is 18th December 2025 or before if we have sold out.

• We will always try and accommodate a size change if possible, so please email if you will need to do this.

• Collection details will be on the email and on our website. please make a note of this, including times.

• We (Lydiard Turkeys) reserve the right to cancel any order placed. For example, if we cannot fulfil your order due to insufficient stock or incorrect pricing. We would either offer an alternative or refund you in full. All correspondence would be via email.

• All orders are processed by Chris & Lindsay Rumming, please email if you have any problems with ordering.

• Due to the nature of the product, we cannot guarantee an exact size or always fulfil a request for smaller/larger within the weight bracket. You are placing an order for a minimum weight, if you know you need more meat, please order a size you would be happy to receive. For example: If you order a 6kg+ please make sure you are happy to receive a turkey that weighs 6kg.

• Cancelling an order - As a small business we really hope you do not need to cancel an order already placed. If you request a cancellation of an order, we will refund your payment minus an administration fee of £5.00 within 5 working days. Any request for a cancellation and refund must be made via email. No cancellations possible after 1st December 2025.

CHRISTMAS TURKEYS - CLICK AND COLLECT SERVICE

• Click and collect service is available on Monday 22nd December between 9am and 10am from The Aquatic Habitat, Shurdington, Gloucestershire. If your turkey is not collected it will be returned to the farm for collection.

• Conygree Farm, Aldsworth - Collection on Tuesday 23rd December between 10am and 4pm.

• North Aston farm shop & community hub, The Peach Barns, Somerton Road, North Aston, OX25 6HX on Tuesday 23rd or Wednesday 24th December between 10am & 6pm.

• The Pantry at Rush Farm, Unit 4 Stockwood business park, Stockwood, Worcestershire, B96 6SX on Sunday 21st December 2pm - 5pm.

PRIVACY POLICY

The information you provide to us when ordering from Lydiard Turkeys - Name, Address, Email address, Telephone number and orders will be stored on our own secure computer for customer assistance when repeat ordering. No other person other than Chris & Lindsay Rumming have access to this. We (Lydiard Turkeys) do not store any payment information. Payments are made using a secure connection via "stripe" your email address is used as our preferred method of contact and this will be stored on our secure data base for contacting you regarding our own products only, no more than 12 times a year (if you select to be contacted) We will never share your details. You are free to unsubscribe at anytime. We will only use your telephone number if you have not collected your products on the specified day or for delivery purposes.

ORDERING OF OTHER PRODUCTS - LAMB, MUTTON & BEEF

• We also produce our own Lamb, Mutton & Beef on the farm. Due to the seasonal nature of these we have specified collection days which will be stated at time of ordering.

• Full Payment must be made to secure an order.

RETURNS POLICY

Due to the nature of the products returns are not accepted.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

It is your responsibility to check your order carefully immediately on receipt of goods. In the unlikely event of goods being unsatisfactory, damaged or incomplete you should contact us within 3 working days, after this time period has elapsed, we will be unable to consider complaints.
