What should I buy? Whole turkey or crown?
That’s easy! A whole turkey definitely tastes best and is easiest to cook too.
It’s also the best value way to buy your turkey.
By cooking the whole turkey all the delicious fats and flavours that are contained within the carcass enhance the taste of the meat and keep it nice and juicy!
Much of the natural fat in the turkey is contained in the back, when a turkey is cooked whole (especially if its cooked breast side down) this fat naturally bastes the meat to keep it moist.
Please don’t think that a whole turkey is huge, most of our turkeys are small varieties and remember because of that extra fat that comes because of the slow growing variety they cook quicker than standard turkeys, so you won't be slaving over a hot stove all day!

Our most popular product is a whole oven ready turkey. These come in weights from 4 to 10 kg (9 to 22 lb) including the vacuum packed giblets. The turkey comes in a box, with fresh rosemary. Also included is a recipe card which gives simple instructions to roast the bird perfectly with a table of cooking times, and also recipes for what to do with those all important left overs.

This is a whole turkey with the legs and back removed leaving the breast on the bone.
No giblets are included in our turkey crowns. The turkey crown comes in a box. Also included is a recipe card which gives simple instructions to roast the bird perfectly with a table of cooking times, and also recipes for what to do with those all important left overs.

We made the decision in 2017 that we won't be offering rolled breast joints, sorry for any inconvenience.
Our reasons for this is that we don't like the amount of wastage that is created - to get a 3kg rolled joint we would be using upto a 10kg whole turkey!!
This makes them financially unviable for a small business like ourselves and they also take a huge amount of time to prepare.

We do however have small whole birds (We think these are the best and have won 3 Great Taste awards for these) and crowns starting from 3kg.
