Lydiard Turkeys in print

In November 2015 Chris was chosen to be part of the NFU Poultry Industry Programme. This is a group of young poultry producers from all sectors- Laying hens, Broilers, feed specialists and Chris representing turkey producers.

The course will be able to offer Chris a better understanding of all things poultry related and so far he has been to westminster to meet with MP's and will be attending the NFU conference in February with a trip to Brussels planned in June to discuss the industry.

In March 2014 we were awarded the Wiltshire Life indepentant food producer of the year award and attended an award ceromony at Marlbough Town Hall we are so proud to have received this award as we were up against some tough competion.

In December 2014 Crumbs magazine published a double page questions and answers article about Lydiard Turkeys. 

Crumbs is a high quality free magazine that  showcases the best food producers and restaurants in the west.

In November 2014 we featured on the front cover of the NFU Poultry Forum Magazine, we also featured in an article along side our good friend and turkey mentor Rob Hart.
